5 coolest pubs to watch the Euro 2016 in Cork

The UEFA Euro 2016 cup has started and you might still be looking for the perfect pub to go cheer for your favourite team. We thought we could help with that and have selected 5 pubs in Cork that are really great to go watch matches. Here they are:

5 – Shelbourne

Shelbourne

The Shelbourne bar is on Mc Curtain st and is broadcasting sports on a regular basis. Wherever you sit in the bar you will be able to see a screen. And if you have a craving, you can order a fish and chips at the Fish Wife, or a pizza at Novecento, right across the street!

4 – Rising Sons

Rising sons

To say the Rising Sons is into sports is an understatement! So any match you want to watch will be broadcasted there, on a giant screen! They also have a great pizza/pint deal.

More info about the matches on their Facebook page!

3 – Old Oak

Old Oak
The Old Oak is also a huuuuge pub where you will find screens everywhere. They roll down a big screen to broadcast the biggest matches, and for the French supporters, there is “the French corner”. Finger food is available upon request.

2 – Reardens

Reardens

The Rearden’s bar is all about the #COYBIG!

They broadcast every match of the Euro cup on their 10f HQHD Screens as well as on  HD TV screens located throughout the bar. The atmosphere for the matches is great, and they serve Funk it up’ Food until midnight 7 nights a week for those of you who will get hungry.

Woolshed

The Woolshed is usually the number one pub you think of when you’re looking for a place to go see the match. It has screens everywhere, and they even organise to have several matches broadcasted at the same time on different screens to accommodate all supporters of any sports. You can order pizzas, finger food, hamburgers… It’s a great place to be to cheer for your team!

Check out their website for the programme!

All 5 pubs are conveniently located in different parts of the city center. We made a map to help you find them!

And if you’re interested, Partnership International participants are meeting in front on Bishop Lucey Park (Grand Parade) at 7:30PM tonight to decide to which of these pubs they’re going to watch Germany play Poland !
