Hi, it’s Mary again, I want to tell you about my adventure in Dublin!
Myself and five of my friends went to Dublin for four days to explore the beautiful city, it was perfect in every way.
We visited The National Wax museum, which was very funny and creative, with lots of statues of famous actors and characters. The interactive multimedia studio and chamber of horror rooms were two of my favourite!
We also went to The National Gallery, with its many pictures, The National History museum where we admired Egyptian Mummies and The National Natural Museum, a magnificent building that housed lots of stuffed animals from all parts of the world. Another unforgettable experience was Dublin Castle, with ruins dating from the Middle Ages.
Due to the bad weather, we couldn’t visit all of Phoenix Park, but we did manage to see some of it. Other parks in the city were very beautiful, including The Iveagh Gardens and St Stephen’s Green Park, whose colours and fountains made it look very festive.
As a book lover, how could I visit Dublin without seeing Trinity College Library?! The entrance of the Library was very magical, words can’t explain how magnificent it was. It was just amazing! I also had the chance to stand in front of the statue and the house of one of the most famous English storywriters: Oscar Wilde.
